Gregory Burrell, MD

Associate Professor

Gregory Burrell received his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at Northwestern University, followed by his MD at the University of Chicago. Thereafter, he completed Internal Medicine residency at UCSF residency program. He joined the San Francisco VA as an academic hospitalist in 2013 and maintains an educational and clinical role as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. Clinically, Greg spends much of his time on the inpatient hospitalist service, particularly spending evening and nights involved with patient care and teaching residents.
