Research

With a strong focus on equity, faculty members are actively engaged in research to improve health care delivery, quality, and patient safety for all hospitalized patients through health services research and epidemiologic methodologies.

Several faculty focus on delivery-based interventions for improving long-term chronic disease self-management and outcomes, while other faculty are involved in global health curricular innovation.There is a strong publication record in both undergraduate and graduate medical education  Faculty members have published > 100 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, commentaries and editorials. Finally, some faculty serve on journal editorial boards such as the Journal of Hospital Medicine.
